Congrats to Ready, Set, Gold! Olympian Jenny Johnson, who just recently was elected into the Beach Volleyball Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2018.
Following her All-American career at UCLA, where she led the Bruins to the 1991 indoor national championship, Jenny took her skills to the beach to play professionally. Her pro career spanned 14 years.
With teammate Annett Davis, they won the silver medal at the 1999 Beach Volleyball World Championships in Marseille, France, and the following year they represented the USA at the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
Jenny is married to Kevin Jordan, a former UCLA wide receiver, and they have two children. Jenny is the daughter of the 1960 Olympic decathlon champion Rafer Johnson.
The induction is at the Hermosa Beach Community Theater on Saturday, November 3 at 7pm. The public is invited to attend both the ceremony and after-party. Tickets are $10.
