Carly is a public health professional who is passionate about nutrition and physical activity as a means to prevent obesity. She is experienced in developing, implementing, and evaluating effective public health programs in the community. Carly earned both her Master’s in Public Health and her Bachelor’s in Science from UCLA. She is also a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES).
Carly’s public health experience includes working at the Department of Veterans Affairs, UCLA, Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, and Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services. She has worked with children ages 0-3, middle school and high school students, pregnant moms, undergraduate students, and elderly patients. Carly continuously aims to educate and promote nutrition, physical activity, and total wellness among the individuals she serves.
In addition to Carly’s professional public health work, she also teaches Yoga Sculpt at CorePower Yoga. She provides mind-body wellness and health promotion to her students. Carly aims to make a lasting positive impact on the individuals she helps throughout her career in public health.
