Mark manages the publicity efforts for the Ready, Set, Gold! program. Simultaneously, he also is Director of Communications for the Los Angeles Sports Council, a non-profit organization that attracts world-caliber sporting events to Southern California.
He has worked in many facets of the sports media industry. His professional background encompasses publicity, broadcasting, public relations, journalism, marketing, promotions and publishing.
A veteran radio reporter with 23 years experience, Meyers is an on-air correspondent for several national sports networks, including Fox Sports Radio, The Associated Press, ESPN Radio, SiriusXM and Westwood One.
In 1995, Meyers co-authored a book titled “Unforgettable! The 100 Greatest Moments in Los Angeles Sports History” and then implemented the book’s regional and national publicity campaign.
A New York native, Meyers is a 1984 graduate of the University of Hartford with a B.A. in Communications. He played football and baseball in college.
