RSG! Paralympian Katy Sullivan just completed a starring role as one of the lead actors in the play “Cost of Living,” at the Manhattan Theater Club in New York. She portrays the loudmouthed Ani, who loses her legs in a car accident.
In July, Katy was featured in a New York Times article on the various challenges that disabled actors encounter on and off the stage. The story tells how Ms. Sullivan, who spends most of the play in a wheelchair, undergoes a rigorous daily stretching routine in order to keep her muscles from tensing up.
